PANTOJA Grupo Logístico is strengthening its organizational structure by appointing Antonio Gálvez, currently COO of the Transportation Division, as Head of the Logistics Division in Spain. This decision is part of the Group’s strategy to move toward unified, cross-functional management, with the goal of leveraging synergies, improving operational efficiency, and offering customers comprehensive solutions with greater added value.
Operational synergies to improve efficiency
Antonio’s experience in coordinating domestic and international transportation operations, combined with his knowledge of the market and the teams, will enable the Transportation and Logistics divisions to work more closely together. This integration will facilitate better resource planning, the optimization of supply chain processes, and a more agile response to the challenges of a rapidly changing industry.
Javier Lafuente, CEO of PANTOJA Grupo Logístico, highlighted the significance of this step: “This move strengthens our business model, which is based on collaboration between divisions and the constant pursuit of efficiency. The synergy between Transportation and Logistics under a single leadership structure in Spain will allow us to offer a more comprehensive, innovative, and customer-focused service. This is a strategic decision that responds to market demands and aligns with the Group’s vision for the future.”
For his part, Antonio Gálvez emphasized the opportunity that this new challenge represents: “Taking on the role of Head of Logistics in Spain is a great opportunity to continue building a more integrated model. I am convinced that the synergy between Transportation and Logistics will allow us to make better use of resources, coordinate our efforts, and provide a more agile and comprehensive response to the market. Our goal is to grow sustainably, innovate in our services, and always stand by our customers, supporting them in their present and future needs.”
Consolidation and expansion in the iberian market
The expansion of the Logistics Division is part of a broader plan for consolidation and growth at PANTOJA Grupo Logístico, which aims to position itself as a leading partner in transportation and logistics solutions in both Spain and Portugal, and to strengthen its international presence. In this context, the Logistics Division in Portugal will continue to be led by José Gonzaga as COO, ensuring stability and continuity in a strategic market.
With this new structure, the company takes another step forward in its mission to grow in a sustainable and competitive manner, prioritizing the digitization of processes, innovation in services, and collaboration among teams as drivers of transformation. The new model will also help consolidate a management style based on closeness, flexibility, and customer focus—distinctive values that have been integral to the Group since its inception.
